SunSirs: Raw Materials Price Increases, China PS Price Increases

According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average PS quotation at the beginning of last week was 9,566 RMB/ton, and the average PS price over the weekend was 9,633 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.7% and a decrease of 1.03% compared to the same period last year.
The price of PS (polystyrene) in the market has risen, and styrene has risen, boosting the market atmosphere. The mainstream brand prices excluding taxes are as follows: Taiwan Taihua 5,250 quoted at 9,850 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N quoted at 9,400 RMB/ton, Shanghai Secco 123P quoted at 8,950-9,000 RMB/ton, Thai Petrochemical 150 quoted at 9,080 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 quoted at 8,880-8,900 RMB/ton.
Crude oil closed higher, with cost support remaining and demand falling short of expectations. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market is between 8,950-10,350 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 9,500-10,550 RMB/ton.
PS cost support, it is expected that the domestic PS (polystyrene) price in the short term will mainly fluctuate.
