SunSirs: Cost Support, China PS Price is increasing

According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average PS quotation at the beginning of this week was 10,133 RMB/ton, and the average PS price over the weekend was 10,166 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.33% and a 5.54% increase compared to the same period last year.
Reference for mainstream brand prices excluding taxes: Zhenjiang Qimei PG33 quoted at 10,780 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N quoted at 10,030 RMB/ton, Shanghai Secco 123P quoted at 9,950-10,000 RMB/ton, Thai Petrochemical 150 quoted at 10,030-10,050 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 quoted at 9,600-9,700 RMB/ton, 660 quoted at 10,720-10,750 RMB/ton.
The quotation from PS petrochemical manufacturers has increased, and cost support has led to an increase in PS prices. Downstream demand for procurement is maintained. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market is between 10,030-11,550 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 10,800-11,700 RMB/ton.
The PS market is trading well, and it is expected that the short-term PS price will mainly fluctuate and tend to be strong.
