SunSirs: Purchase by Needs, China PS Price is Stable

According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average PS quotation at the beginning of last week was 9,600 RMB/ton, and the average PS price over the weekend was 9,566 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.35% and a decrease of 1.71% compared to the same period last year.
PS (Polystyrene) market price consolidation, cost storage support, mainstream brand price excluding tax reference: Taiwan Taihua 5250 quoted 9,600 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N quoted 9,340-9,350 RMB/ton, Shanghai Secco 123P quoted 8,950 RMB/ton, Thai Petrochemical 150 quoted 9,080 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 quoted 8,870 RMB/ton.
Crude oil closed higher, while styrene rose in the night trading session, with some support in cost. Downstream procurement is in urgent need, and merchants operate cautiously. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market is between 8,900-10,100 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 9,350-10,400 RMB/ton.
PS cost support, with transactions mainly focused on essential purchases, and it is expected that the domestic PS (polystyrene) price may fluctuate in the short term.
