SunSirs: Cost Supported, China PS Price Increased

According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average PS quotation at the beginning of this week was 9,500 RMB/ton, and the average PS price over the weekend was 9,566 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.70% and a decrease of 3.69% compared to the same period last year.
Part of the PS market saw a slight increase, with styrene prices fluctuating. Mainstream brand prices excluding taxes are quoted at 9280 RMB/ton for Zhenjiang Qimei PG33, 9,100 RMB/ton for Ningbo Taihua 535N, 9,000 RMB/ton for Shanghai SECCO 123P, 9,050 RMB/ton for Thai Petrochemical 150, 8,950-9,000 RMB/ton for Guangzhou Petrochemical 525, and 9,550 RMB/ton for Hong Kong Petrochemical 1841H.
Styrene returned to a narrow range in the night trading session, with continued support on the cost side. The trading atmosphere on the market is still acceptable, and merchants operate cautiously. The mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market is between 8,850-9,900 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 9,350-10,350 RMB/ton.
PS cost support, market trading is average, and it is expected that in the short term, domestic PS (polystyrene) prices may mainly fluctuate and consolidate.
