SunSirs: Cost Fluctuated, China PS Price Drop

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of PS at the beginning of this week was 9,716 RMB/ton, and the average price of PS at the weekend was 9,650 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.69% and a decrease of 3.18% compared to the same period last year.
Crude oil plummeted, styrene fluctuated and sorted out. Mainstream brand prices excluding taxes refer to: Zhenjiang Qimei PG33 quoted 9,700 RMB/ton, Taiwan Taihua 5250 quoted 9,730 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N quoted 9,330 RMB/ton, Shanghai SECCO 123P quoted 9,270 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 quoted 9,180-9,200 RMB/ton.
The domestic PS market continues to decline, with a significant decline in upstream crude oil, driving down pure benzene and styrene. The prices of PS ordinary materials have also fallen, and there is a strong sense of caution on the market. Business confidence is still insufficient. The mainstream price of GPPS in the East China market is between 8,950 and 10,100 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is between 9,350 and 10,550 RMB/ton.
The upstream raw materials of PS have fallen, and market confidence is insufficient. It is expected that in the short term, domestic PS (polystyrene) prices may mainly fluctuate and decline.
