According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of PS at the beginning of this week was 9,233 RMB/ton, and the average price of PS at the weekend was 9,200 RMB/ton. The price decreased slightly by 0.36%, a decrease of 19.42% compared to the same period last year.
PS market wait-and-see consolidation, with low enthusiasm for buying and taking goods. At the end of the month, merchants are cautious in watching, looking more and moving less. Mainstream brand quotations refer to: Saibaolong 525 is quoted at 8,080-8,100 RMB/ton, Liwan 525 is quoted at 8,050-8,100 RMB/ton, Lianyungang Petrochemical 525 is quoted at 8,000-8,050 RMB/ton for delivery, Shanghai SECCO 123P is quoted at 9,400-9,500 RMB/ton, and Yangba 158K is quoted at 8,850-8,900 RMB/ton; The above quotations are all inclusive of taxes and are subject to firm negotiation.
International crude oil and styrene prices have risen, while PS petrochemical manufacturers have stabilized prices. The pace of buying and following up has been slow, and merchants are operating according to the market. The mainstream price of GPPS (Polyphenylene sulfide) in East China market is 8,000-9,300 RMB/ton, and the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) is 8,550-9,650 RMB/ton.
China PS trading market is light, and it is expected that the PS (polystyrene) market may experience a volatile and weak trend in the short term.
