According to the data monitored by SunSirs, the IPA market fell this week. At the beginning of the week, the average price of domestic IPA was 6,990 RMB/ton, and this Friday, the average price was 6,920 RMB/ton. The price decreased by 1% during the week.

Analysis review

The IPA market fell this week. The price of raw material acetone was tepid, and the price of propylene was lowered. The enthusiasm of downstream buying was not high, and the operation was cautious. As of the 18th, most of the IPA market quotations in Shandong were around 6,800-7,000 RMB/ton; Most of the IPA markets quotations in Jiangsu and Zhejiang were about 7,000-7,100 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material acetone, the price of acetone was stable this week. As of the 18th, the price of acetone was 5,800-6,100 RMB/ton. The market was more wait-and-see, and the transaction was cautious.

In terms of propylene, as of this Friday, the mainstream quotation of propylene market was 7,200-7,250 RMB/ton. Due to the large increase last week, the downstream appeared to wait and see, and the demand was restrained. In order to stabilize the delivery of goods, the refinery lowered the price and gave back the increase. As of the 18th, the propylene market had played a long and short game. Influenced by the sharp drop of crude oil and led by bad news, it was expected that the propylene price would continue to fall in a narrow range next week.

Market outlook
