Price trend

According to the data of SunSirs, the market of chloroform fell this week (11.11-11.18). As of November 18, the price of chloroform (bulk water) in Shandong was 3,150 RMB/ton, down 4.55% from the price of 3,300 RMB/ton on last Friday. There was no significant increase in the new demand for chloroform. The supply side was loose, the factory price of enterprises was lowered, and the business’ offer was lower.

Analysis review

This week (11.11-11.18), the operating rate of methane chloride increased slightly, and the pressure on the supply side of chloroform remained.

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the reference price of upstream urea was 2,654.00 RMB/ton on November 16, an increase of 5.91% compared with the price on November 1 (2,506.00 RMB/ton).

As of the 18th, the downstream refrigerant market was stable, with low starting point, and the demand was weak in the face of chloroform support.

Market outlook

According to the methane chloride data analysts of SunSirs, the supply side is loose and the demand side is weak, but the cost side has risen recently. It is expected that the chloroform market may stop falling due to the cost support in the later period.
