At the beginning of the month, the manufacturer's listing price was raised, and the merchant's offer rose. On the 5th, the ex factory self delivery price of vinyl cyanide market was between 11,000 yuan and 11,550 RMB/ton, and the market performance was firm.

Analysis review

This week, the 100,000 t/a vinyl cyanide unit of Chen Qixiang was restarted, but the product had not been put into the market. In addition, the 210,000 t/a vinyl cyanide unit of Anqing Petrochemical was shut down for maintenance, so the pressure on the supply side of the vinyl cyanide market was not large.

This week (10.31-11.05), the raw propylene market declined slightly, and the cost support weakened. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of November 5, the domestic propylene price was 7,000 RMB/ton, down 1.91% from 7136 RMB/ton last Friday. Affected by domestic public health events, Shandong market suffered from blocked enterprise shipments, poor on-site transportation, and the low-end price fell below 7,000 RMB/ton within the week.

Recently, ABS at the downstream of vinyl cyanide continued to operate at a high level; Acrylic fiber, polyacrylamide and butadiene vinyl cyanide rubber industries started steadily; Downstream demand side had rigid support for vinyl cyanide.

Market outlook
