Price trend

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of domestic refrigerant R22 on September 22 was 18,333.33 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.76% compared with the price at the beginning of the month of 17,500.00 RMB/ton, and a decrease of 25.68% compared with the same period last year.

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of domestic refrigerant R134a on September 22 was 25,666.67 RMB/ton, an increase of 5.48% compared with the price at the beginning of the month of 24,333.33 RMB/ton, and a decrease of 20.21% compared with the same period last year.

Analysis review

This week, the quotation price of refrigerant R22 enterprises continued to rise. The quotation of enterprises in Shandong area was raised to between 18,000-18,500 RMB/ton, and the quotation of enterprises in Zhejiang area was around 18,000 RMB/ton.

As of September 22, the price of the upstream raw material chloroform continued to rise within the month, with an overall increase of 26.55%. Hydrofluoric acid was generally weak and stable, and fell slightly by 0.66% at the low level in the month. On the whole, the price of upstream raw materials continued to rise. In addition, due to the impact of factors such as power supply restrictions in advance and enterprise downtime for maintenance, the overall R22 inventory of enterprises was relatively low. With the rising cost and the unabated support of rigid demand, the domestic R22 market price continued to be strong.

Since September, the price of hydrofluoric acid, the upstream raw material of the refrigerant R134a, has been weak and stable as a whole, with a slight decrease of 0.66% in the month. The price of trichloroethylene continued to rise, up 16.36% within the month. The overall cost of raw materials has risen, the inventory of enterprises has been relatively low, and the downstream rigid demand has not decreased. Under the support of costs and demand, the price of refrigerant R134a has been stable and strong during the month.

Market outlook

Refrigerant analysts of SunSirs believe that the price of upstream raw materials continues to rise, and the downstream demand for refrigerants will not decrease. Under the support of cost and demand, it is expected that domestic R22 and R134a prices will continue to be strong in the short term.
