SunSirs: Refrigerant Prices Fluctuate Slightly (May 6-10)

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of May 10th, the average price of refrigerant R22 was 24,666.67 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.67% from the beginning of the month price of 24,833.33 RMB/ton, and an increase of 20.33% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of May 10th, the average price of refrigerant R134a was 31,100.00 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.32% from the beginning of the month's price of 31,000.00 RMB/ton, and an increase of 22.76% from the same period last year.

Analysis review

Entering May, the overall price of chloroform in China remained stable, while the price of hydrofluoric acid slightly rebounded, rising by 0.69% during the week. The slight increase in raw material costs further supported the domestic refrigerant prices. Some enterprises slightly lowered the factory price of R22 to stimulate shipments, driving the domestic R22 market price to fluctuate slightly. Overall, the overall domestic R22 market price was still operating at a high level.

Entering May, the domestic price of trichloroethylene slightly rebounded, rising by 0.31% during the week. The price of hydrofluoric acid continued to rise, rising by 0.69% during the week. The overall raw material cost continued to rise, while the downstream demand for refrigerants remained unchanged. Supported by cost and demand, the domestic R134a price fluctuated strongly this week.

Market outlook
