July 13 2020 14:48:38SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the data monitored by SunSirs, the price of aniline rebounded slightly this week. On July 3, the price of aniline in Shandong was 4,100-4,180 RMB/ton, and the price of aniline in East China was 4,100-4,300 RMB/ton; On July 10, the price of aniline in Shandong was 4,200-4,280 RMB/ton, and the price of aniline in East China was 4,300 RMB/ton, up 1.6% from last week.

Analysis review

In terms of cost, this Sunday (July 12), the pure benzene listing price was 3,050-3,300 RMB/ton (average price 3,150 RMB/ton), an increase of 10 RMB/ton or 0.32% from last week. This week, Sinopec's pure benzene listing price stabilized, and the price of pure benzene in Shandong rebounded slightly. In the first half of the week, Shandong pure benzene experienced a wave of bottoming out rebounds. In the second half of the week, it was continuously affected by higher inventories. The market mentality was slightly worse and prices stabilized.

From June 10 to the present, nitric acid in East China has been operating steadily, and the price in East China is 1,450 RMB/ton.

This week, supported by the cost side and the release of inventory pressure, the aniline in Shandong rose slightly by 100 RMB/ton. Cargo was the main source of goods in East China, and the pressure was also relatively small.

Market outlook

From the current cost perspective, port inventories remain high, and large-scale installations overhauled in the previous period have been restarted, and market supply pressure will continue to increase in the later period. Downstream phenolic and ketone enterprises have lowered the operating rate due to maintenance, further forming a negative effect on pure benzene.

At present, aniline market volatility is not big, there will be small fluctuations in the price stability.
