SunSirs: China's Iron Ore Port Arrivals Declined Week-on-Week

Global iron ore shipments increased by 8.169 million tons week-on-week. From September 8 to September 14, 2025, total global iron ore shipments reached 35.731 million tons, up 8.169 million tons from the previous week. Total shipments from Australia and Brazil reached 29.778 million tons, up 6.482 million tons week-on-week. Australia shipped 20.846 million tons, an increase of 2.622 million tons week-on-week, with 18.362 million tons destined for China, up 3.049 million tons week-on-week. Brazil shipped 8.932 million tons, an increase of 3.860 million tons week-on-week.

Total iron ore arrivals at China's 45 ports decreased by 857,000 tons week-on-week. From September 8 to September 14, 2025, total iron ore arrivals at China's 47 ports reached 23.923 million tons, down 1.806 million tons week-on-week. Total iron ore arrivals at China's 45 ports: 23.623 million tons, down 857,000 tons from the previous week; Total iron ore arrivals at the six northern ports: 12.450 million tons, down 750,000 tons from the previous week.
