From the perspective of electricity consumption by industry, the electricity consumption of the first industry was 17 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 20.2% year-on-year; the electricity consumption of the second industry was 593.6 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 4.7% year-on-year; the electricity consumption of the third industry was 208.1 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 10.7% year-on-year; the electricity consumption of urban and rural residents for living was 203.9 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 18.0% year-on-year.

From January to July, the total electricity consumption of China accumulated 5,863.3 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, of which the electricity generation of the industrial enterprises above designated size was 5,470.3 billion kilowatt-hours. From the perspective of electricity consumption by industry, the electricity consumption of the first industry was 847 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%; the electricity consumption of the second industry was 37,403 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%; the electricity consumption of the third industry was 11,251 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%; the electricity consumption of urban and rural residents for living was 9,132 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%.
