On May 6th, the DBP market in Jiangsu Province experienced a weak decline, with a quoted price of 7,950 RMB/ton. The DBP market in Shandong region was weak and declining, with a price of 7,850 RMB/ton, while the DBP market in Zhejiang region was weak and declining, with a price of 8,000 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
On May 6th, the price of n-butanol, a raw material for plasticizer DBP, fluctuated and consolidated, the PA market weakly consolidated, the price of isooctanol weakly fell, and the cost of DBP raw materials weakly fell. PVC prices were fluctuating and consolidating, downstream demand was weak, DBP equipment production was stable, DBP supply was stable, DBP factory inventory was accumulating, and downstream customers' purchasing enthusiasm was average. The transaction price was based on the negotiated price, with DBP prices ranging from 7,850-8,000 RMB/ton. As DBP prices declined, the downward pressure on the DBP market increased, the upward momentum weakens, and the DBP market weakened.
