SunSirs: Panjin Customs Quickly Released 258000 tons of Soybeans to Boost the Edible Oil Market
February 11 2020 09:43:03SunSirs(Daisy)

On February 9, 60000 tons of soybeans imported by CNSC Panjin oil company arrived at Panjin Port. Panjin customs started the fast customs clearance process and completed the inspection and quarantine in only 2 hours and 24 minutes, which won time for the fast supply market of CNSC Panjin oil company.

In order to ensure the recovery of production of enterprises related to people's livelihood, such as CSSC and HuiFu grain and oil, Panjin customs actively provides assistance measures to ensure the sufficient supply of raw materials for import processing and production, maintain the stability of market supply, and prevent market supply shortage in some areas.

In view of the extraordinary period of epidemic prevention and control, Panjin customs carried out a 24-hour duty system to accept paperless online customs declaration at any time. Panjin customs adopts two methods of manual and automatic sampling to quickly sample the surface and layer of soybean ships. The front-line customs officers give up reuniting with their families, work overtime and shorten customs clearance time.

From January 22 to February 9, Panjin customs has rapidly released 258000 tons of soybeans, providing a strong raw material guarantee for the processing and production of edible oil. Due to the timely supply of imported soybeans, the company was able to resume work quickly. As of February 7, CNSC Panjin oil company has processed 29369 tons of soybeans and sold 2090 tons of soybean oil, enriching the market supply.
