Analysis review

On May 8th, mainstream enterprises in East China offered concentrated nitric acid at a price of 2,300-2,500 RMB/ton, while northern and central China offered prices at 2,200-2,400 RMB/ton. As of the 12th, the concentrated nitric acid market was mainly on the sidelines, with weak transactions and a lack of positive news to boost the market. Focus on market transactions.

From May 8th to May 12th, upstream liquid ammonia decreased by 1.55%, downstream aniline prices decreased by 4.04%, TDI prices increased by 1.85%, and potassium nitrate decreased by 0.92%. The price of raw material liquid ammonia decreased, coupled with the downward trend of downstream potassium nitrate prices, resulting in weak downstream demand for nitric acid. However, the demand in industries such as pesticides and pickling was sluggish, and the price of nitric acid continued to decline.
