From the current point of view, the cost has boosted the price of polyester staple fiber, and the price of polyester staple fiber has remained firm. However, the poor performance of the demand side has suppressed market sentiment to a certain extent.

At present, staple fiber factories are suffering severe losses, and some will increase their willingness to reduce production. It is expected that the supply will gradually decrease. On the cost side, the recent concentrated maintenance of PX will still bring strong support, but the increased production reduction of downstream polyester factories and the increase in PTA's own production will bring a certain drag on PTA. In addition, the demand side is relatively light.

Under the long-short game, it is expected that the operation of polyester staple fiber will be stalemate for the time being. It is still necessary to pay attention to the trend of crude oil prices and the recovery of demand.
