SunSirs: The White Cardboard Was Lower, the White Board Was Stable
March 17 2023 13:12:31SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the price of white cardboard was slightly reduced this week, and the price of white board paper with gray background was stable. The average market price of 230g-400g white cardboard on March 16 was 5,246.67 RMB/ton, down 0.63% from the average market price of 5,280 RMB/ton on March 12. On March 16, the average market price of 250g gray base white board paper was 4,479 RMB/ton, which remained stable compared with the average market price of 4,479 RMB/ton on March 12.

Analysis review

According to the observation of market changes, the market price of white cardboard had dropped slightly this week, and the market price of wood pulp raw materials had continued to decline recently. Therefore, the market price of wood pulp paper products was surging in the dark, making the price at the bottom stage of fierce competition, but the market response was poor, the acceptance of end users was general, and the actual market transactions were mostly based on negotiation.

The price of whiteboard with gray background was stable this week, but the demand of end users was light and the market volume was average. Under the circumstances of the decline in cost of raw materials and the limited demand in the end market, the price of whiteboard was lack of support. Therefore, prices were temporarily stable to watch market demand change.

Market outlook

According to the paper analysts of SunSirs, the continuous decline of the cost price had a negative impact on the paper price. The market was mostly in a cautious wait-and-see state. It is expected that the price of white cardboard and white board will be stable temporarily in the short term.
