In January, the trend of domestic PA66 market was weaker and stagnant. According to the monitoring of the data of SunSirs, the average ex-factory price of domestic PA66 was 21,500 RMB/ton on January 31, with a decline of - 1.15% from the price level at the beginning of the month.

Analysis review

In January, the market of PA66 was generally stable, and the spot price fell at the end of the month. In terms of supply, the total domestic load of PA66 industry was about 65% last month, which was sideways compared with the previous period. Enterprise operation followed the trend of destocking in the early stage, and the inventory pressure was moderate, while the supply was relatively abundant.

In the upstream, the raw materials of HMDA and adipic acid: in January, Tianchen Qixiang HMDA plant was shipped normally, and the domestic price of HMDA was stable. Adipic acid was supported by the recent strength of pure benzene and rose after the holiday. The situation in demand was weak and difficult to change. The terminal enterprises followed up with the goods just in needed. The level of stock preparation before the holiday was general. After the holiday, market participants gradually returned. Buyers generally had strong resistance to high-priced goods. The smoothness of merchants' delivery was average.

Market outlook

In January, the spot price of PA66 was stable and weaker. The market at the raw material end remained firm, and the support from the cost end for PA66 was acceptable. The load of PA66 enterprises stabilized, the factory price fell at the end of the month, and the overall inventory position was low. The demand side followed up with the goods just in needed. It is expected that PA66 may continue to operate in a stalemate in the short term.
