On October 13, the average purchase price of waste yellow board paper market was 2,102.86 RMB/ ton, which decreased by 41.43 RMB/ ton or 1.93% compared with the average purchase price of wastepaper at the beginning of the week (2,144.29 RMB/ ton on October 11). On October 13, the average factory price of corrugated paper was 3,300 RMB/ ton, which remained stable compared with the average price of corrugated paper at the beginning of the week (the average price of corrugated base paper on October 11 was 3,300 RMB/ ton).

According to the observation of market changes, under the leadership of the three major paper mills on October 13, the national wastepaper prices showed a comprehensive downward trend from south to north, and the price reduction ranged from 20 to 100 RMB/ ton. This price reduction may be due to the high price of wastepaper from paper mills in the early stage, and the quantity of wastepaper delivered from paper mills is sufficient. Under the current situation of moderate demand, the paper mills have lowered their prices, providing relatively broad space for future prices to rise. As prices of Jiulong, Liwen, Shanying, Jinzhou, Liansheng, Jinfenghuang, Rongcheng and other domestic first-line paper mills fell comprehensively, it is expected that more manufacturers will follow up the price decline.

In terms of corrugated paper price, the current price is still stable, but with the overall decline of wastepaper price, the price of corrugated paper may be affected by it and adjust the price. After the festival, a number of paperboard price increase letters emerged in some areas, with an increase of about 5%, mainly involving Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and other regions, making the market present favorable. But today's decline in wastepaper prices may give paperboard price rise enthusiasm caused a certain impact.
