SunSirs: China Wastepaper & Corrugated Paper Rose, the Future Market or will still be Stable Upward

According to the data of SunSirs, after a weekend of small upsurge in wastepaper prices, the average purchase price of waste yellow board paper market on July 7 was 2,058.57 RMB/ ton, which was 68.57 RMB/ ton higher than that at the beginning of the month (the average purchase price of wastepaper on July 1 was 1,990 RMB/ ton), which was increased by 68.57 RMB/ ton, or 3.45%. The price of corrugated paper was also affected by the rise of paper price of Jiulong paper mill. On July 7, the average ex-factory price of corrugated base paper was 3,200 RMB/ ton, which was 100 RMB/ ton higher than that at the beginning of the month (the average price of corrugated base paper on July 1 was 3,100 RMB/ ton), an increase of 3.23%.

According to the observation of market changes, on July 4 last weekend, the price of wastepaper showed an overall upward trend from south to north. Until July 7, the price of wastepaper was still rising. Most paper mills have increased by more than 100 RMB/ ton.

In terms of corrugated base paper price, with the sixth round of base paper price rising tide of Jiulong paper enterprises officially landing, the price of paperboard in South and central China took the lead, and East China followed closely. At present, corrugated paper market atmosphere is relatively good.

According to the paper analysts of SunSirs, the market demand of wastepaper and corrugated paper is still relatively good at present. Since July, with the gradual increase of temperature, the demand of beverage and beer industries will rise, which will relatively drive the increase of orders of some enterprises. It is expected that the price of wastepaper and corrugated base paper will still rise steadily.
