SunSirs: China Chongqing Liwen's Annual Production of 300,000 tons of Food Grade Packaging Paper Project Starts

The total investment of the 13 projects that have started construction this time is 24.84 billion RMB. After completion, it is expected to increase production value by 37.12 billion RMB, increase tax revenue by 3.33 billion RMB, and create 6,850 new jobs.
Chongqing Liwen Paper Co., Ltd. also started the annual production of 300,000 tons of food grade packaging paper project on the same day. The total investment of this project is 350 million RMB, and it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 600 million RMB after completion and operation. It is the first food grade packaging paper project invested and constructed by Liwen Paper since settling in Yongchuan in 2006. Huang Zhicong, General Manager of Chongqing Liwen Paper Southwest Area, stated that the trend of "replacing plastic with paper" in China has formed, and the market demand for food grade packaging paper is growing rapidly.
It is understood that since 2006, Liwen Paper has invested a total of 12 billion RMB in Yongchuan. From a paper mill that produces packaging paper, it has developed into a large enterprise with more than 6,000 employees and covers the entire papermaking industry chain. In 2023, it was selected as one of the "Double Hundred Enterprises" in the city.
