Price trend

The rare earth index on May 19 was 832 points, down 1 point from previous day, down 17.38% from the highest point in the cycle (1,007 points on 2022-02-24), and up 207.01% from the lowest point of 271 points on September 13, 2015. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 to the present)

Analysis review

The domestic rare earth index declined slightly, the price of domestic light rare earth praseodymium neodymium series fell, the price of praseodymium neodymium oxide fell by 2,500 RMB/ton to 932,500 RMB/ton, and the price of Pr-Nd Allo fell by 2,500 RMB/ton to 1,127,500 RMB/ton. The price of praseodymium oxide was 940,000 RMB/ton, the price of neodymium oxide was 945,000 RMB/ton, the price of metal praseodymium was 1.225 million RMB/ton, the price of metal neodymium was 1.155 million RMB/ton, and the price of dysprosium oxide was 1.225 million RMB/ton. The price of dysprosium oxide fell by 10,000 RMB/ton to 2.61 million RMB/ton, the price of Dy-Fe Alloy fell by 10,000 RMB/ton to 2.615 million RMB/ton, and the price of dysprosium metal was 3.38 million RMB/ton.

The domestic market price of light rare earths has dropped slightly. The recent procurement is general. The price of dysprosium series in the domestic heavy rare earth market has declined, and the price of terbium series has fallen. The downstream purchase is mainly based on demand. Myanmar has banned exports.

Market outlook

It is expected that the domestic rare earth market price will drop slightly in the later period.
