SunSirs: Nitric Acid Prices Rose on April 6

According to the monitoring of SunSirs, on April 6, the average price of concentrated nitric acid in the domestic area was 2,233 RMB/ton, and the average price before Qingming Festival was 2,050 RMB/ton, an increase of 8.94%.

Analysis review

On April 6, Anhui Jinhe concentrated nitric acid was quoted at 2,200-2,300 RMB/ton, which was an increase of 350-400 RMB/ton from the previous time; Anhui Audley concentrated nitric acid price was 2,350 RMB/ton, which was an increase of 470 RMB/ton from the previous time. Wenshui County Synthetic Chemical Co., Ltd. quoted 2,200 RMB/ton for concentrated nitric acid ,which was the same as before the holidy, and quoted 960 RMB/ton for dilute nitric acid. Shandong Helitai concentrated nitric acid quoted at 2,300 RMB/ton, an increase of 200 RMB/ton from the previous time; Shaanxi Xinghua Chemical Co., Ltd. quoted 2,150 RMB/ton for concentrated nitric acid, an increase of 250 RMB/ton from the previous time. The nitric acid market is in short supply, the market is better, the manufacturers have no inventory pressure and the raw material liquid ammonia rises boosted, and the prices of most manufacturers are rising.

In the upstream liquid ammonia market, the liquid ammonia market rose sharply in March. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the monthly increase of liquid ammonia was 17.16%. As of the end of the month, the mainstream price in Shandong was 3,700-3,850 RMB/ton; downstream aniline, the average domestic market price from April 1 to April 6 was 12,300 RMB/ton, and the average price on April 1 was 13,066 RMB/ton, down 5.87%.

Market outlook
