SunSirs: The Domestic EA Market Is Operating Firmly
September 24 2020 07:49:23SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring of the bulk data of SunSirs, the East China EA market has continued to rise. As of September 22, the average price of enterprises in East China was around 5,720 RMB/ton, an increase of 2.1% from the average price of 5,602 RMB/ton in East China at the beginning of the month, an increase of 1.37% from the same period last month.

Analysis review

At present, the domestic EA market as a whole is stable and strong, enterprises are starting to work steadily, and downstream and traders have basically completed stocking before the holiday. There are few large orders and many sporadic small orders. The raw materials acetic acid and ethanol have recently performed strongly, and the cost of EA support is good. At present, it is about 5,750 RMB/ton in East China, 5,650 RMB/ton in North China, and 6,100 RMB/ton in South China.

In terms of raw materials, acetic acid production companies stopped to reduce the load and the industry's inventory was low, resulting in tight market spot supply. Downstream and traders have basically completed the stocking, and it is expected to stabilize in a short time. The ethanol market is stable and strong. The raw corn is affected by the severe weather and typhoon, which will have a negative impact on the listing of new grains. The ethanol production companies in the northeast have recently successively planned for maintenance. The supply may be reduced to a certain extent, and the operation will be stable in a short time.

The international market price of EA is stable and firm. The current European market port price is around 750 Euro/ton; the North American market port price is around 640-690 US dollars/ton.

Market outlook

The EA Analyst of SunSirs believes that the current domestic downstream market of EA is mainly based on digesting contracts, new orders are limited, the pressure on corporate inventory is not large, and it is running well in a short time.
