The average price of first-class corn starch for consumption at the beginning of the week was 3,252.00 RMB/ ton, and the average price at the weekend was 3,274.00 RMB/ ton, up 0.68% within the week.
In November, affected by the epidemic situation and rainfall in some areas, the quantity of corn delivered to ports and deep processing enterprises declined. To stimulate the arrival enterprises to continue to raise prices and replenish stocks, the domestic corn market price rose at an overall high level, and the corn price continued to rise. With the support of raw material costs, the domestic corn starch market price continued to rise.
The analysts of the corn starch products of SunSirs believe that: the cost of imported corn is still high, the main body of the grain storage trade is bullish in the future, and the intention of downstream enterprises to raise prices to supplement the stock is not diminished. In the short term, the overall domestic corn market price will continue to operate firmly, and the domestic corn starch market price will continue to be stable, moderately and strongly under the support of costs.
