According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the price of domestic corn starch continued to be weak last week. The average price of first-class corn starch consumed at the beginning of the week was 3,232.00 RMB/ ton, and the average price at the weekend was 3,182.00 RMB/ ton, down 1.55% in the week.
In August, the domestic corn market price continued to be weakly adjusted, the corn price continued to decline, and the downstream trade subjects of starch had a strong wait-and-see attitude. In addition, the peak season of terminal starch demand was still not prosperous, and the domestic corn starch market price continued to be weak and downward under the pressure of cost reduction and weak demand. On August 26, the average price of domestic corn starch market fell to 3,182.00 RMB/ ton, down 4.90% from August 1.
According to SunSirs corn starch product analysts, the domestic corn price rose slightly after the overall weakness and stabilization last week. The overall stabilization of the cost will play a certain role in supporting the future corn starch market price, and the overall domestic corn starch market price will gradually weaken and stabilize in China.
