SunSirs: E-Gas System: China's LNG Imports Totaled Approximately 530,000 Metric Tons During the Week of February 16-22

Real-time LNG import vessel arrival data released by China's E-Gas System indicates that during the week of February 16-22, China imported an estimated 8 LNG vessels through coastal receiving terminals, totaling approximately 530,000 metric tons. This compares to the previous week's figure of 1.19 million metric tons.
By importing country, China sourced LNG from four nations during the week of February 16-22. Australia supplied three vessels totaling approximately 210,000 tons, accounting for about 41% of the week's total imports.
By destination, during the week of February 16-22, the South China region unloaded 2 LNG ships, the Yangtze River Delta region unloaded 4 ships, and the Bohai Rim region unloaded 2 ships. Jiangsu CNOOC Binhai LNG Terminal received the most shipments with two vessels totaling approximately 170,000 tons.
E-Gas system LNG vessel schedule forecasts indicate China will import 19 LNG shipments via coastal terminals during the week of February 23 to March 1, with an estimated import volume of approximately 1.38 million tons.
