On February 8th, the commodity price index BPI was 927 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 30.98% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 40.45% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, in the fifth week of 2026 (2.2-2.6), there were a total of six commodities in the energy sector that saw a month on month increase in commodity prices. The top three commodities with the highest increase were coke (3.77%), liquefied natural gas (3.05%), and fuel oil (0.47%). There are a total of 6 products that have experienced a month on month decline, with the top 3 products being WTI crude oil (-2.94%), Brent crude oil (-2.55%), and petroleum coke (-1.20%).
