September 29 2025 09:24:42     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to the SunSirs commodity market analysis system, domestic adipic acid prices weakened in September, fluctuating downward. On September 1, the average price of adipic acid in the domestic market was 7,383 RMB/ton. On September 26, the average price was 7,250 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.81%.

The negative factors were superimposed, Adipic acid prices fluctuated and fell in September

Since September, the market for cyclohexanone, a raw material for adipic acid, has remained weak and stable, while the market for pure benzene, a raw material, has declined. Due to weakening terminal demand, the price of adipic acid has continued to decline. As of September 11, the price had fallen to 7,300 RMB/ton. Market transactions were average, and sales were flat. These negative factors have led to a weak decline in the adipic acid market.

After mid-September, prices for raw materials like benzene and cyclohexanone declined, limiting cost support. End-user demand was sluggish, leading to sluggish market transactions and weakening adipic acid prices. As of September 22nd, prices had fallen to 7,280 RMB/ton, a decrease of approximately 100 RMB/ton from the beginning of the month.

At the end of September, the prices of raw materials, benzene and cyclohexanone, remained weak, providing little support. End-user demand remained weak, resulting in mediocre market transactions. Adipic acid prices stabilized, but the average market price fell to 7,250 RMB/ton as of September 26, a decrease of nearly 2% from the beginning of the month.

Market outlook

SunSirs' adipic acid analysts believe that after the National Day holiday, terminal demand will increase, raw material prices will improve, and the domestic adipic acid market is expected to stop falling and rise.
