According to the business data analysis system of SunSirs, since December 8th, positive factors have supported the domestic adipic acid market, leading to an improvement in prices. On December 1st, the average market price of adipic acid was 6,733 RMB/ton, and on December 16th, the average domestic market price of adipic acid was 6,833 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.49%.

Market Analysis

Since December, the prices of cyclohexanone and benzene, the raw materials for adipic acid, have remained strong and at high levels, supporting the upward trend in adipic acid prices. Increased rigid demand from end-users led to improved trading in the adipic acid market, and manufacturers successively raised their ex-factory prices. As of December 16th, the mainstream market price in Shandong province was around 6,900-7,000 RMB/ton, an overall increase of 100 RMB/ton, while the mainstream market price in Jiangsu province was 6,800 RMB/ton, also an increase of 100 RMB/ton. The average price in the domestic market rose to 6,800 RMB/ton, an increase of 100 RMB/ton, representing a rise of over 1%..

Market Forecast:

According to SunSirs' adipic acid analyst, in late December, rigid demand from downstream industries will gradually recover, and supported by raw material prices, the adipic acid market is expected to continue its upward trend.
