SunSirs: European Vegetable Oil Crushing Volume in August 2025
September 18 2025 11:20:46     According to foreign media reports, FEDIOL, the European vegetable oil and protein meal industry organization, stated that in August 2025, rapeseed crushing volume across the EU-27 plus the UK reached 1.8 million tons. This compares to 1.348 million tons in July and 1.785 million tons in August of the previous year.
In August 2025, soybean crushing in the EU-27 plus the UK reached 1.136 million tons, compared to 1.046 million tons in July and 1.188 million tons in August last year.
Total oilseed crushing in Europe for August reached 3.187 million metric tons, up from 2.591 million metric tons in July and compared to 3.36 million metric tons in August last year.
Crushing volumes from FEDIOL member companies account for 80% of the total soybean, sunflower seed, and rapeseed crushing in the EU-27 and the UK.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on September 18, the benchmark price of soybean oil on SunSirs was 8,448.00 RMB/ton, up 0.24% from 8,428.00 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
On September 18, the benchmark price of rapeseed oil on SunSirs was 10,136.67 RMB/ton, up 2.39% from 9,900.00 RMB/ton at the beginning of the month.
