SunSirs: The Retail Sales of China Passenger Cars Increased by 4.6% Year-on-year to 1.995 Million Units in August

The latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that in August this year, the retail sales of passenger cars in the national market reached 1.995 million units, a year-on-year increase of 4.6% and a month on month increase of 8.2%.
The cumulative retail sales from January to August reached 14.741 million vehicles, an increase of 9.5% compared to the same period last year.
Data shows that the retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles in August reached 1.101 million units, a year-on-year increase of 7.5% and a month on month increase of 11.6%. This growth rate indicates that the popularity of new energy vehicles among consumers is constantly increasing.
From the cumulative data from January to August, the retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 7.556 million units, a year-on-year increase of 25.8%. Such a significant growth trend has made new energy vehicles a key force driving the overall growth of the passenger car market.
