SunSirs: US Tire Imports Increase by 4.8% Year-on-year in 2025

The latest data shows that by 2025, the United States will import a total of 286.15 million tires, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%. Among them, the import of passenger car tires increased by 3.3% year-on-year to 174.19 million units; The import of truck tires increased by 4.7% year-on-year to 61.5 million units; Aircraft tires decreased by 3% year-on-year to 282,000; Motorcycle tires increased by 11% year-on-year to 3.77 million units; Bicycle tires decreased by 9% year-on-year to 6.15 million.

By 2025, the United States will import a total of 21.06 million tires from China, a year-on-year decrease of 15%. Among them, the number of passenger car tires decreased by 40% year-on-year to 959,000; The number of truck tires decreased by 18% year-on-year to 1.28 million.

In 2025, the United States imported a total of 73.51 million tires from Thailand, a year-on-year increase of 10%. Among them, there were 44.79 million passenger car tires, a year-on-year increase of 6%; There were 15.93 million car tires on the truck, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%.
