SunSirs: Canada's Rapeseed Exports Reached 48,000 Tons in the Week Ending August 31

Data released by Statistics Canada show that Canada's grain and rapeseed exports in the first month of the 2025/26 marketing year were slower than last year. Canada exported 48,000 tonnes of rapeseed in the week ending August 31st, compared to 79,000 tonnes the previous week. Exports so far in the 2025/26 marketing year are 482,000 tonnes, a 52.0% decrease year-over-year, and a 47.6% decrease last week.
Canada's marketing year for grains and oilseeds (wheat, durum wheat, barley, and rapeseed) begins on August 1st of each year and ends on July 31st of the following year.
