SunSirs: EU Oilseed Imports Are Expected to Decrease to 20.99 Million Tons in 2025/2026

The European Commission's report in August showed that EU rapeseed imports for 2025/2026 are expected to decrease to 20.99 million tons, unchanged from last month's forecast and lower than the 23.09 million tons for 2024/2025. The expected rapeseed crushing capacity is 46.47 million tons, which is the same as last month's forecast but higher than last year's 45.43 million tons, indicating that the EU's internal rapeseed processing capacity continues to grow.
