According to the SunSirs commodity market analysis system, domestic adipic acid prices rebounded in August, with a fluctuating upward trend. On August 1, the average price of adipic acid in the domestic market was 7,233 RMB/ton. On August 26, the average price was 7,383 RMB/ton, a 2.07% increase.

In early August, rising prices for adipic acid raw materials, benzene and cyclohexanone, supported by increased terminal demand, drove adipic acid prices up, reaching 7,300 RMB/ton, a nearly 1% increase. By mid-August, the support from raw material prices was limited, and terminal demand declined. Following the initial surge, adipic acid prices stabilized, remaining at 7,300 RMB/ton with no fluctuations.

In mid-August, prices for benzene and cyclohexanone, the raw materials for adipic acid, declined, driven by sluggish end-user demand. Domestic adipic acid market activity remained mediocre, with decent sales. Prices from adipic acid producers remained relatively stable, while those from traders generally declined. The market remained weak, with prices falling to 7,200 RMB/ton by August 19, a drop of nearly 0.5%.

At the end of August, prices for benzene and cyclohexanone, the raw materials for adipic acid, stabilized, with improved end-user demand. Domestic adipic acid market transactions improved, with increased sales. Adipic acid prices rose, signaling a rebound in the market. As of August 26, the average market price exceeded 7,300 RMB/ton, an overall increase of over 100 RMB/ton.
