SunSirs: Toluene Market Conditions in Some Regions of China on August 13

On August 13, the benchmark price of toluene on SunSirs was 5,560.00 RMB/ton, up 1.28% from the beginning of this month (5,490.00 RMB/ton).
On August 13, the mainstream spot quotation range of toluene market in East China was 5,500-5,530 RMB/ton, unchanged from the previous trading day. As of August 13, downstream purchases were on demand, the negotiation atmosphere in the morning was light, and trading in the spot market was still acceptable.
On August 13, the mainstream toluene quote range in South China was 5,600-5,770 RMB/ton, down 40 RMB/ton from the previous session. The spot market was weak, with downstream demand generally strong and trading activity moderate. Sinopec South China's toluene listings remained stable, with Guangzhou Petrochemical at 5,700 RMB/ton, Maoming Petrochemical at 5,650 RMB/ton, and Zhongke Refining and Chemical at 5,650 RMB/ton.
