In June 2025, China's methanol import volume was 1.2202 million tons, a decrease of 5.58% compared to the previous week. The average import price was $265.97 per ton, a decrease of 2.29% compared to the previous week. Saudi Arabia has the largest import volume of 299,200 tons, with an average import price of 265.91 US dollars per ton. The cumulative import volume of methanol in China from January to June 2025 was 5.3773 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.68%.
In June 2025, China's methanol export volume was 17,500 tons, a month on month increase of 14.38%, with an average export price of 467.94 US dollars per ton, a month on month increase of 46.63%. The cumulative export volume of methanol in China from January to June 2025 was 142,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 526.43%.
