SunSirs: Magnesium Prices Rebounded Steadily Last Week
July 07 2025 09:55:30     According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs: This week (6.30-7.4), the market of magnesium ingots in Shaanxi Province rose slightly, with the average market price at the beginning of the week at 16,175 RMB/ton and the average market price at the weekend at 16,250 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.46%.
Starting from July this week, magnesium prices have rebounded steadily, and magnesium prices have continued to rise in the middle of the week. There was a stalemate at the weekend, and the price fell slightly.
Supply and demand side
On the supply side, due to the advantage of small spot inventory, factories continue to maintain their willingness to support prices, and low-priced goods in the market are extremely scarce. Some companies have clearly stated that they will not ship when the price is lower than 16,200 RMB/ton, and choose to wait and see changes in the market.
On the demand side, although downstream demand has shown signs of improvement, it still maintains a cautious pace of procurement. Downstream customers and intermediaries mainly carry out a small amount of replenishment operations based on rigid demand, and the overall procurement volume has achieved a moderate increase this week.
Raw materials
The price of ferrosilicon remained stable, the price of lignite remained basically stable, the price of coal market showed a slight decline, and the overall cost did not change significantly this week.
