SunSirs: The Production and Sales of Automobiles Reached 12.826 Million and 12.748 Million respectively from January to May 2025

On June 11th, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that from January to May, the production and sales of automobiles reached 12.826 million and 12.748 million respectively, an increase of 12.7% and 10.9% year-on-year. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 5.699 million and 5.608 million respectively, an increase of 45.2% and 44% year-on-year. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 44% of the total sales of new cars. In terms of exports, from January to May, 2.49 million cars were exported, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. Among them, the export of new energy vehicles was 855,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 64.6%.
