SunSirs: This Year, China's Cotton Planting Area Reached 44.823 Million Mu

Today (12th), the China Cotton Association of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives announced that this year, the national cotton planting area reached 44.823 million mu, and it is currently growing well.
Data released by the China Cotton Association showed that the cotton planting area in the Yellow River Basin and the Yangtze River Basin remained stable, and the cotton planting area in Xinjiang reached 40.9 million mu, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year.
At present, the cotton area in Xinjiang is growing well, and most of the cotton in Xinjiang entered the bud stage at the end of May. After entering June, the average temperature in Xinjiang is slightly higher than usual, and the precipitation is less than usual. The meteorological conditions are more favorable for cotton production.
