SunSirs: 2024/25 EU Soybean and Rapeseed Import Volume Statistics s of April 20

According to data from the European Commission, the overall import volume of EU oilseeds in 2024/25 is higher than last year, but the import volume of vegetable oils lags behind the same period last year. As of April 20th, the import volume of soybeans from the 27 EU countries in 2024/25 (starting from July 1st) was approximately 11.22 million tons, an increase of 9% compared to the same period in 2023/24, and an increase of 8% year-on-year last week.
As of April 20th, the import volume of rapeseed from the 27 EU countries in 2024/25 (starting from July 1st) was approximately 5.41 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 14%, and a year-on-year increase of 16% last week.
