SunSirs: Brazil’s Soybean Production Forecast Raised
February 04 2026 15:07:27     SunSirs (Selena)
The StoneX report has raised the expected Brazilian soybean production for 2025/26 to 181.62 million tons, higher than the previous forecast of 177.61 million tons. If the prediction becomes reality, it will increase by 7.6% compared to the previous year.
The expected increase in supply indicates that there may be an oversupply in the future market, which will exert downward pressure on soybean spot prices. This is because production growth will weaken the supply-demand balance, push up inventory levels, and lead to price pressure.
