According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the MDI market has recently experienced a high decline. The mainstream price for Shanghai goods (44V20, M20S, 5005) was 17,600-18,800 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price for domestic goods (PM200) was 17,900-18,100 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
The Fujian plant was on the brink of shutdown, but the market supply was still sufficient. Downstream demand was average, while upstream demand was more proactive, resulting in reduced prices for delivery.
