On February 26th, the commodity price index BPI was 905 points, unchanged from yesterday, down 32.61% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 37.12% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on February 26, 2025, a total of 34 commodities showed a year-on-year increase in their prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector (22 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (4 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were hydrofluoric acid (3.77%), sulfuric acid (3.30%), and hydrofluoric acid (export) (3.16%). There were a total of 55 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (13 in total) and rubber and plastic (11 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were hydrochloric acid (-4.17%), Brent crude oil (-3.17%), and WTI crude oil (-2.50%).
