SunSirs: Brazil's Average Daily Cotton Exports have Increased by 9% Year-on-year since February
February 21 2025 15:24:33     According to data from the Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat (SECEX), Brazil's cotton exports have increased year-on-year since February 2025.
From February 1 to 14, Brazil exported 148,672 tons of cotton, and the monthly export volume in February 2024 was 258,000 tons.
The average daily cotton export volume since February is 14,867 tons, an increase of 9.4% year-on-year.
Cotton export revenue so far in February is US$180 million, and US$490 million in February 2024.
The average export price of cotton so far in February is US$1,692.9 per ton, a year-on-year decrease of 10.5%.
In comparison, Brazil's cotton exports in January 2025 were 416,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 66%.
In December 2024, Brazil's cotton exports were 353,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%.
Brazil's cotton exports in November 2024 were 299,515 tons, an increase of 18% year-on-year.
