From December 9th to December 15th, the national purchase volume of seed cotton was 66,000 tons, a decrease of 57,000 tons compared to the previous period; The purchase volume in Xinjiang was 58,000 tons, including 28,000 tons of hand picked cotton and 30,000 tons of machine picked cotton; The purchase volume in mainland China was 8,000 tons.
As of December 15, 2024, the cumulative processing volume of cotton peels in China was 5.33 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 18.6%. The cumulative processing volume of cotton in Xinjiang region was 5.244 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%. The processing volume of cotton in the autonomous region was 3.584 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 26.5%; The processing volume of cotton in the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps was 1.66 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.9%. The cumulative processing volume in mainland China was 87,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.9%.
