SunSirs: Ukraine has Harvested 53.9 Million Tons of Grain s as of November 28
December 03 2024 14:52:10     SunSirs (Selena)The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture stated that as of November 28th, Ukraine has harvested 53.9 million tons of grain, accounting for 97.9% of the planned area of 11.116 million hectares. The harvested grains include 22.4 million tons of wheat, 560 degree barley, 469,000 tons of peas, and 24.2 million tons of corn. The corn harvest progress is 95.6%.
Farmers also harvested 10.2 million tons of sunflower seeds, with a harvest progress of 97.1%; The rapeseed harvest has ended, with a yield of 3.46 million tons. The soybean harvest yield is about 6 million tons.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture predicts a grain production of 54 million tons in 2024, including approximately 25 million tons of corn and 22 million tons of wheat.
The total grain and oilseed production in 2024 may reach 77 million tons, lower than the 81 million tons in 2023.
